Mocal In-Line Oil Stats Push On

Mocal's push-on type, in-line remote oil thermostats, based on the larger OT/2 casting. These units thermostatically control oil flow to your oil cooler installation, this enables your engine to reach it's optimum operating temperature before the cooler comes into play. This ensures your oil isn't over cooled and reduces engine wear due to it not being at it's optimum operating temperature. These units are fitted in the supply and return oil lines to an oil cooler. Suitable for any application, especially where a thermostatically operated take off plate is not available, or if to be used with existing oil cooler installations. Supplied as standard to open at 80°C, but can be selected to open later at 95°C.
