Stilo WRC Piuma DES Circuit Helmet

Stilo's WRC Carbon Piuma DES Circuit helmet is at the forefront of helmet design and now homologated to the more stringent Snell SA2010 safety standards. Following on from the success of the original Piuma helmet, the new DES version has a number of upgrades making it much improved.

While the renowned electronics with padded ear muffs remain the same, the comms port has been moved forward to allow easy easier access for connecting the intercom, as well as further away from the HANS® posts. The Piuma DES is one of the most futuristic helmets on the market and much stronger having passed the Snell safety standards. The helmet now has a more subtle black fire resistant lining and is the only helmet with EPS cheek pads offering more protection than some other open face helmets.

The new Piuma weighs between 1190g and 1230g across the range and the latest X-Large model has a more generous fit than the original Piuma model. The helmet features a very strong carbon fibre/kevlar composite shell, headset connection, noise reducing ear cups, jack plug socket and adjustable microphone, it's also now available in an x-small size suitable for heads measuring as little as 53-54cms. The Piuma DES comes with HANS® posts fitted as standard.
